Maravilla stands on the beach about a half-a-mile from the village. The location is superb but refurbishment is required and the standard is more basic than most of our other properties. However, the natural, as yet, unspoilt location has made Maravilla a firm favourite with many clients thus ensuring its continued inclusion in our brochure. Facilities include a swimming
pool (approximately 33 x 15, enclosed on all four sides -
offering sheltered sunbathing on windy days) and a small shop
selling basic items such as milk, wine, beer, etc. A freshly
baked bread service is also available. Safety deposit boxes are available on payment of a refundable deposit. Please ask at reception.
Cleaning at Maravilla is weekly with towel changes three times a
week and weekly changes of bed linen. Type A: Beach
Apartments
2 Bedrooms Sleep 4 These apartments all front onto the sea
and, in our opinion, their three star rating is warranted by
the superb location.
The ground floor is open-plan and consists of a lounge with a settee, two easy chairs and a sideboard. There is also satellite TV and a CD/radio. The dining area has a table with four chairs and the kitchen is equipped with a two ring ceramic hob, microwave cooker, fridge, electric kettle, coffee maker and toaster. The separate bathroom has a bath with shower, toilet, bidet and hand washbasin.
On the first floor are two bedrooms, each with built-in
wardrobes; one bedroom has a double bed (twin mattresses) and
the other two single beds. There is also a small balcony
overlooking the sea (no extra charge for the magnificent
sunsets!).
Each apartment has a terrace with two tables (the smaller one
can be used on the upstairs balcony), four chairs and two
sunloungers and there are private gardens from which steps lead
directly onto the beach.
Type B: Apartment
2 Bedrooms Sleep 4 With a side sea-view.
Similar accommodation and equipment to the Type A (including satellite TV, CD/radio, and microwave cooker) but with an additional
bathroom upstairs (toilet, bidet and hand washbasin) but no
balcony.
Terrace with table, four chairs and two sunloungers. Type
C: Studios (single storey)
Sleep 2 One room (30 sq. metres - larger than the average
studio) with twin beds, settee and cooking area (gas hob with two burners,
kettle, filter coffee maker and fridge). Separate W.C., shower
and hand washbasin. Some have a terrace with a side sea-view,
others overlook the swimming pool. Each has a patio table, two
chairs and two sunloungers.
Type D: Apartment (single storey)
2 Bedrooms Sleep 4 The Type D Apartment overlooks the swimming
pool. The lounge, dining area and kitchen are open-plan. They
have a settee, sideboard, dining table and four chairs. The
kitchen has a two-ring ceramic hob, fridge, electric kettle, filter
coffee maker and toaster. One bedroom has a double bed with twin
mattresses; the other has two single beds. They both have fitted
wardrobes. The bathroom has a shower (no bath), toilet, bidet
and hand washbasin. Outside, there is a table, four chairs and
two sunloungers.
